The BarnTalk Gateway is the brains of the BarnTalk platform.

The Gateway connects automatically to the strongest cell signal when you plug it in regardless of the carrier.

The Gateway can be plugged into a standard 110V outlet and serves as the primary means of monitoring power.

For best results, the Gateway should be plugged into the same power source as the ventilation controller.

The BarnTalk Gateway comes equipped with two internal Dry Contact Circuits which are used to connect the BarnTalk Gateway to additional power sources and sub-panels, controllers, generators, auger motors, water pressure switches and more.

As soon as the wireless barn Gateway is plugged into a power source, it will find and connect to the strongest local cell tower.

Built-in cellular connectivity is included in the Gateway.  A local wireless network is created, that extends across the building and through walls.  This allows the gateway to connect up to 24 wireless sensors to each Gateway within a 700 foot range. If you have multiple barns on site, we typically recommend one Gateway for every two buildings.

The Gateway and sensors can typically be installed with ease in 30 minutes.
